Selfish Ambition

Selfishness has been around forever and these are things we cant seem to just figure out its basically our human nature. Selfishness has to have played a huge roll in the 1920's,from the rich,the mobs,and the business organizations. We see the 1920's as a great time in history but it has its own selfish inlet.

The Great Gatsby is rooted selfishness and greed, from the money that Gatsby attains to Tom leaving using women to get what he wants. Characters are used through selfish ambition and greed to get to certain people for their own happiness. Selfish people don't understand the consequences of their actions.

I leave u with some pictures of some selfish people of the 1920's and of today. Greed is the underlying theme of this book along with selfishness. The 1920's overall was a time of social change and so on.
